Laura Rhodes is the principal at Third Sector Consulting, a boutique nonprofit consulting firm based in Bozeman, MT, with offices in Charleston, SC and Greensboro, NC. She specializes in prospect research, grant writing support and fundraising training for boards.

She has more than 15 years' experience in philanthropy and nonprofit development. Before starting her consulting business, Laura was a program officer with the American Express Foundation. She has served on a number of grant selection and award committees. She has also helped raise more than $5 million for nonprofits through grants, annual campaigns, special events and workplace giving campaigns.

Having been both a grantmaker and a fundraiser, Laura uses her unique perspective to help nonprofits find more funders, win more grants and raise more money for their cause.
